First off shot outs to my girl Shanda from ManandWife.TV. love them. If you don't know who she is she's the wife of Scoop. Scoop is/was a NYC radio DJ personality who like some other DJs decided to branch out on the music scene. He made hits with Missy Elliott, Busta, and a lot of other celebs, putting out his one of a kind voice and usually runs tour as a hypeman getting the crowd ready for various concerts. I believe they may have had a radio show at one time and they used to do live show or onair segment. For a short time they also had a show on MTV. Anywho along with the website where they are usually doing a webshow together Shanda also has her own vlog "Shanda Says". She recently did a vid on PCOS.
A few weeks ago I went to the doc and complained about some womanly and hormonal problems I've been having recently and she suggested I get a get a ultrasound. The ultrasound found some things some small fibroids (no shocker there, she said there were too small to be concerned about) most importantly a cyst. Which has probably been there for years. I never heard of it till she mentioned it so I did some quick research. I may have PCOS I have all the symptoms that Shonda mentioned as well but my doctor didn't mention that. So in a few weeks I'm going back to the doc for a biopic(sp?) to confirm. Then maybe another ultrasound in a few weeks after that for a checkup. Sigh personally I hate doctors appointments but I try to keep there regularly because I like to be aware of my health. I'll be sure to mention PCOS when I see her again.
